Cross Country skiers at Waiorau Snow Farm are blessed with 55km of some of the most well prepared trails in the world, groomed and snow fenced to give the best possible conditions. Trails have been designed for all levels of cross country skier, young or old, beginner or expert. There are magnificent views of the Southern Alps, river valleys and rolling slopes. Our base lodge houses cafe, restaurant, ski hire and tuition as well as accommodating over 70 guests in ensuite and shared facility rooms. The normally light dry snow makes for excellent skiing. The main season is July-September. Events are held during the season and cater for amateurs to international racers. |
